Discover North-West Argentina on a Royal Enfield: 808 miles (1,300 km) of breathtaking roads, including the legendary Ruta 40 once used by the Dakar Rally. In 9 days from Salta, this motorcycle tour in Argentina takes you through the country's most beautiful region, between gaucho country and Inca ruins: wide open spaces, high plateaus at 4,500 m (14,764 ft), llamas, salt flats and the Calchaquí Valleys with their hidden lagoons.

This raid is reserved for experienced riders. It includes long stages at high altitude, with passes above 4,500 m (14,764 ft), far from medical facilities. First assistance to reach the nearest medical centre is mainly provided by our support vehicle, as helicopters and ambulances are very rare. Limited mobile coverage and the ban on satellite phones can make it difficult to contact emergency services. As on any mountain route, road conditions and the difficulty of the route depend on the weather, during and before the tour.
