1/10 • Arrive in Kochi - Taxi to Cranganor
You’re met at Cochin Airport and transferred to your hotel. The natural setting chosen to greet you invites you to relax on the banks of the river Periyar. Sit back and relax!
2/10 • Historical tour of Muziris
Muziris was the name of the first port town that welcomed merchant sailors in search of coveted spices. We ride amidst the lush vegetation and the tranquil coastal plains. Today makes for the perfect introduction to Kerala.

3/10 • Cranganor - Munnar
We wind westwards through the bountiful plain. Then, we gradually make our way along the river Periyar, before tackling hairpin bends as we approach Munnar. The region remains one of the most reputable tea producers.

4/10 • Munnar - Muttukad
e embark on a long tour through tea plantations, skirting the Eravikulam National Park and the Kannan Devan Hills. For dessert, we visit a tea factory. We have a wonderful day and the lush hills are like natural pieces of art!

5/10 • Muttukad - Thekkady
This leg sends us into Kerala’s hilly the Western Ghats. Munnar may be the capital of tea, but in Thekkady, spices are king as it is surrounded by spice plantations. A visit to a spice garden and Periyar National Park also are on the agenda.

6/10 • Thekkady - Vembanad Lake
We come down from the mountains on a fantastic road, giving us a chance to bid farewell to the hilly tea plantations. We arrive at the east shore of the immense Vembanad Lake in the heart of the famous backwaters.

We spend this evening and night on a Kettuvallam, a traditional backwater houseboat. We take the little roads and tracks left by locals. After lunch on our Kettuvallam, we drift in the middle of this water world until the following morning.

Finally, we make our way to the beach today! We take one last tour around the backwaters countryside before heading to the coast.

We take the coastal roads to reach our destination in time for lunch. We explore the charming old town, historic Fort Kochi, and discover its beautiful colonial past with an eclectic mix of Dutch and Portuguese architecture, centuries-old churches, and a vibrant, appealing way of life.
