On the agenda
Treat yourself to a 100% women-only motorcycle tour in Greece, through the heart of the Peloponnese, the legendary birthplace of Greek mythology. Riding your Royal Enfields, you'll journey through wild landscapes and winding roads, where every turn reveals a new backdrop straight out of ancient legends. Together, as a group of female riders, you'll stop in lively, picturesque coastal villages, share laughter over meze in shaded town squares, and soak up the warmth of Greek hospitality before diving into the sparkling blue of the Mediterranean. This sisterhood adventure blends a passion for riding with cultural and culinary discoveries, and moments of true shared freedom. In Greece, the art of living is contagious, and with just the girls, it's simply irresistible!

The Girls Ride heads somewhere new with every edition: discover all our Girls Ride tours.

Prefer a mixed group? The same route is ridden on The Road of the Gods, and The Secret Roads of a Different Europe heads north into Albania.

Girls Ride Greece: your questions

What is different from The Road of the Gods?

The route is the same, a 7-day loop with 5 riding days through the Peloponnese, starting from Rafina. What changes is the group: women only, riders and pillions, led by a female guide, on dates set aside for this edition. To ride the same itinerary in a mixed group, choose The Road of the Gods.

When will the next Greek edition run?

The 2026 editions took place in May and October, and no 2027 date has been published yet, as the Girls Ride moves to a new destination from one edition to the next. The Peloponnese season runs from April to May, then from September to November, and other dates are possible on request through your travel advisor, for a group of friends for example. Next published edition: Chasing the Nomad Caravans, in Tunisia, in May and October 2027.

Is this Girls Ride right for a less experienced rider?

Yes, it is rated Accessible: you just need to feel at ease on your motorcycle and ride regularly. The route mostly follows mountain and coastal roads, with a few stretches of easy track, about 30 miles (50 km) in all, taken at a gentle pace. For more off-road, the Tunisian edition is more demanding.

How far do we ride each day?

Stages range from 110 to 160 miles (177 to 258 km), a little over 620 miles (1,000 km) across the five riding days. The longest one opens the trip, from Rafina to Kalavryta via the Corinth Canal and Lake Doxa. Stops at Nemea, Sparta, Mystras and Epidaurus set the rhythm of the days.

Can a pillion come along?

Yes, as on all our tours, as long as she is a woman: she rides behind one of the riders in the group. She pays £1,490 (€1,690), against £1,790 (€1,990) for the rider. The route, almost entirely on tarmac, suits riding two-up, and her luggage travels in the support vehicle.

Who leads the group, and how many of us will there be?

An English-speaking female motorcycle guide leads the way on riding days. A mechanic and the driver of the support vehicle complete the local team. The group is limited to 10 motorcycles, or 12 participants with pillions.

What does the price cover, and what should I budget for?

£1,790 (€1,990) per rider covers the Royal Enfield with fuel and tolls, the team, standard accommodation, full board from dinner on day 1 to breakfast on day 7 with water, tea and coffee, and transfers to and from Athens airport. You pay for your flights, other drinks, tips and a €600 deposit per motorcycle.

Which motorcycle will I ride, and what if I am on the short side?

A Royal Enfield, checked every day by the mechanic who follows the group with the spare parts. If you are on the short side or used to a lighter motorcycle, tell your travel advisor your height and the bike you usually ride before booking, so you can talk it through together.

How do I get there, and do I need any particular documents?

You land in Athens on day 1: a transfer drops you at the seafront hotel in Rafina, where the group gets together in the evening for the briefing. An extra night in Rafina, before or after the tour, is available as an option. UK and EU riders need no visa for a trip of this length, and a full UK photocard or EU motorcycle licence is enough. Check the FCDO travel advice before you go, and our documents for Greece.

What weather should I expect, and what should I pack?

In spring and autumn alike, days are mild on the coast, but the air cools quickly at altitude, around Kalavryta and Lake Doxa. Pack a warm layer, rain gear and a swimsuit for the Mediterranean, all in a soft bag: your luggage travels in the support vehicle.
