This Himalaya motorbike tour plunges you into a world of dizzying peaks, remote valleys and high-altitude deserts, where every bend brings its share of thrills. Cross some of the highest mountain passes in the world, ride along glacial rivers and take in landscapes of unmatched wild beauty. Along the way, soak up Tibetan Buddhist traditions and meet local people in monasteries and villages hidden deep in the mountains. 1/13 • Arrival at New Delhi
Namaste! Welcome to Delhi, India's bustling capital city. We will meet you at the airport, where a private vehicle will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Then you have two options: relax after your flight or take the opportunity to explore some of the city's hidden gems.

2/13 • Delhi - Leh
After an early breakfast, head to Leh by air. Once you arrive in the beautiful capital of Ladakh, it is important to slow down and acclimatise to the altitude – you are at 3,500 metres – before starting your india motorcycle tour.

3/13 • Leh – Leh (Indus Valley)
To get used to the bikes, we will ride in a loop south-east of Leh on both banks of the Indus River, staying at the same altitude to allow you to acclimatise while discovering some of the most beautiful Ladakhi monasteries, such as those at Mato and Thiksey. A wonderful introduction to Tibetan Buddhism. Night at 3,500 metres.

4/13 • Leh - Temisgam
We make the most of the Indus Valley west of Leh, travelling along a network of small, quiet roads that offer a complete picture of Central Ladakh: oasis villages, unspoilt landscapes, dirt tracks and the ancient monastery of Alchi, before arriving in the stunning Temisgam basin via the artists' entrance... Overnight stay at 3,300 metres.

5/13 • Temisgam - Lamayuru
We continue down the Indus River, through impressive gorges to Dargoo. Then we climb the road to the Kuksho Pass, before descending into the Chiktan Valley, home to the Shiite Baltis; we are on the border between the Muslim and Buddhist worlds. Then we cross the 4,000-metre mark for the first time at the Fotu Pass, before reaching Lamayuru, the oldest Tibetan monastery in Ladakh. Night at 3,500 metres.

6/13 • Lamayuru - Padum
This day promises to be one of the most intense and spectacular. The track is under construction for much of the way, reaching an altitude of almost 5,000 metres at the Singi Pass (4,955 m). After crossing the Zanskar Gorge, an unforgettable sight, we enter the vast valley of the same name. A remote, unspoilt region with landscapes of raw beauty. Night at 3,400 metres.

7/13 • Padum - Jispa
We climb up the Tsarap and Kurgiak rivers, gaining altitude to cross our first pass above 5,000 metres: the Shinku La (5,050 m). Before the pass, we admire the imposing summit of Gombok, a mesmerising shark's tooth. Then we descend into the Lahaul region. We have left Ladakh, but will return tomorrow. Night at 3,300 metres.

8/13 • Jispa - Tso Khar
A long and challenging day today: we ride on the NH2, the classic Trans-Himalayan route, a legendary road and the oldest connection between Leh and the rest of the country. Three passes, one at 5,080 metres and two above 4,900 metres. After the first pass, we will not descend below 4,000 metres for the next two days. At the end of the stage: the Pang gorges, the Morey Plain, and finally the salt lake Tso Kar. We are now in Changtang, the most inhospitable, yet most beautiful region of Ladakh. Overnight stay at 4,600 m.

9/13 • Tso Khar - Tso Moriri
We remain in Changtang at very high altitude all day, between 4,500 and 5,000 metres. This is a shorter stage, as we need to take it easy on the drivers. This is the region of the Changpa nomads, who raise yaks and the famous Pashmina goats, from which cashmere wool is made. We are close to Tibet, and you should be able to take some unique photos! We will spend the night in a camp in the village of Korzok, at 4,500 metres, the highest point of the trip.

10/13 • Tso Moriri - Pangong Tso
We take an unconventional route, enriched by several mountain lakes and a pass rising to 5,437 metres, higher than the famous Khardung La and the highest point of our journey. A magnificent day in the heart of a wild and unspoilt environment. A whole day in Changtang, where you may encounter nomadic herders and Kyang, the wild donkeys of Tibet. Overnight stay on the Sino-Indian border, on the shores of Lake Pangong, at 4,300 metres.

11/13 • Pangong Tso - Leh
We leave the azure waters of Pangong Lake and head for Leh. Passing through Chang La Pass (5,340 m), which can be very busy depending on the season (local tourism). Then comes the long, beautiful descent into the Indus Valley, which you saw at the beginning. Once in Leh, you will have a little time to do some last-minute shopping if necessary before our farewell dinner.

Your incredible discovery of the Indian Himalayas is coming to an end... Morning transfer to Leh Airport to catch your flight. Transfer to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure in the capital. Overnight stay at the hotel.

This raid is designed for experienced riders and features long stages at high altitudes, including passes over 4,500 meters, often far from immediate medical assistance. Primary aid in reaching the nearest medical center is provided by our support vehicle, as helicopters and ambulances are rarely available. Limited phone coverage and restrictions on satellite phones can make contacting emergency services challenging. Additionally, as with any mountain route, road quality and difficulty are heavily influenced by current and prior weather conditions
