My road trip to the land of a thousand and one wonders, UTTARAHKAND, I loved riding a Royal Enfield, this bike is a real dog on any road, with the added bonus of the Himalalya mountain range as a red line throughout the tour. I couldn't have dreamed of anything better for a young beginner with only 2 years' experience of motorcycle riding. I recommend this trip to everyone, and to Brygitte too.

Laos is a beautiful country, still very authentic. The temples are magnificent. The forests are breathtaking. And the work being done to save the elephants is remarkable! All this helps to put the state of the roads into perspective;

I loved the northern landscapes, the friendliness of our guide, the group and meeting the local people. I didn't like the big cities, too polluted, too noisy, or the caste system that leaves too many people in misery.

Incredible immersion in northern Laos. Beautiful, very rural, very welcoming people. Primary forest. We should be able to pick up the bikes directly in Laos. I don't think the Thailand part is useful, that's another trip. With the 2 customs crossings, outward and return, you lose almost a day.

I loved this trip, as much for the beauty of the landscapes as for the kindness of the people I met along the way. The smiles of the children living in these villages lost deep in the mountains or forests filled my heart with joy. They certainly don't have the same priorities as we do! I let myself be carried along, feeling at ease everywhere and safe thanks to our guide and mechanic. Enthusiastic by nature, my dream (of 15 years ago to be part of this adventure) mixed with reality, or quite simply, this reality was as beautiful as my dream.
