An off-road motorcycle training lets you discover or refresh the fundamentals of off-road riding aboard the Royal Enfield Himalayan. This course is valuable not only for everyday road riding but also for venturing out on adventures with confidence and enjoyment. Whether you’ve already ridden with us on the road, are planning your next motorcycle trip, or just want to join a weekend ride with friends, you’re welcome at the Vintage Rides Academy for a motorcycle training course.

FRENCH MOTORCYCLE TOUR

3 stages - 160 miles

1/3 • Training on private ground (Beaujolais region)
You’ll set off on your motorcycles to the training ground for a day full of theory that you will put into practice straight away. On the agenda: clearing obstacles, tackling bends, slow and fast riding, changing gears while standing up, etc. The workshops will be tailored to your needs and level. Expect an intensive day of training!

2/3 • Exploration tour (Beaujolais region)
It’s time to set off and put yesterday’s lessons into practice. After a quick debrief, we head out to explore the Beaujolais region. We ride through the villages of the renowned crus and across the hills on forest trails, fully immersing ourselves in the area. In the evening, we enjoy a well-deserved stop in a warm and friendly setting. This stage is a highlight of your France motorcycle tour, combining stunning landscapes, camaraderie, and pure riding pleasure.

3/3 • Exploration tour
We make the most of these challenging tracks and trails, exploring our history and stopping to chat with the locals we encounter on our way. What better way to discover this welcoming land than a trip to Montmelas Castle? We arrive in Genay and spend our last evening together reliving the most memorable parts of our three-day trip.

  • Royal Enfield Himalayan 411cc rental (latest model).

  • Fuel.

  • Supervision on private training grounds: training day (Day 1) with an English-speaking French Motorcycle Federation-certified instructor.

  • Lunch on the 2 riding days (Days 2 and 3).

  • Mandatory insurance: an insurance that covers medical expenses abroad.

  • A refundable security deposit of €600 per pilot

Our courses take place on private land and/or on small roads and rolling tracks. There is no support vehicle; In the event of an accident, participants and/or the guide will contact public emergency services as soon as possible (fire brigade, SAMU). Unstable telephone networks can occasionally make contact with emergency services difficult. As with any adventure itinerary, the difficulty of the course depends on the weather conditions, both during and before the course.
