Mustang: the Legendary Expedition

This route from Kathmandu to almost the end of the Mustang valley is extremely varied in terms of landscapes and people encountered. Without being at its best, the weather was rather favorable (no rain). If you're doing this trip for the panoramic mountain views, you'll need the luck of clear weather. If, on the other hand, you're looking for adventure and trouble, you'll need rain to make the trails slippery :) In any case, the hotels we've selected are always in good condition, so you'll have plenty of time to recuperate.

Vintage Rides, flawless organization. A Tour Leader (guide), Mister Ravi (yes, he does wear his first name well?) of the highest quality; in-depth knowledge of the region, immediate responsiveness to all our requests or to any particular situation, constant supervision of the group, reinforced by the assistance of the Driver and Mechanic who follow the group at all times in a 4/4. The motorcycles are cleaned every evening and inspected by the mechanic for possible repairs or replacement of parts. Luggage travels in the 4/4, so we're light on the bikes with a small backpack. Excellent hotels every night. In short, a subtle blend of adventure and comfort. Well done!

Mustang: the Legendary Expedition

The itinerary of the trip was not the same as the one we received before departure. There was no overnight stay in Tukuche which meant that we spent less time in Mustang than expected. It was more of a general tour of Nepal with a few days in the mountains… The roads in Mustang are getting better so you cover the distances more quickly. To keep it as a Mustang tour you should plan more days there, perhaps by dispensing with the visit to Chitwan. Also, as the roads get better, it will become less of an “adventure” tour. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed it!
