The Trans-Himalayan
The local team was great and fulfilled the trip expectations. Deepak is very friendly and was great at making sure we rode safely, and we didn't get sick with altitude sickness. He constantly shared his knowledge of the local culture and customs. The scenery was exceptional, and the thrill of the ride was amazing (not for the faint of heart). The value is great as well. I can't imagine trying to take care of local accommodation, renting bikes & insuring them, figuring out all the permits that were required and plotting a route in advance! Having a top-notch mechanic (Sunil) with us made the technical issues irrelevant. This was my second ride (after Argentina), and I just scheduled the next one in Thailand.
