It was a beautiful trip. Unfortunately we had the bad luck to have a very bad weather during the days when we had to tackle the most beautiful part of the trip... we missed everything of the Ha Giang geo park ... thick fog and torrential rain ... we didn't see a thing and had to cut a day short, it had become impassable and dangerous.
Apparently, the work zones have become much longer and more numerous, it takes an incredible amount of time and there's nothing to see between the dust and the mud ... these are the hazards, but maybe there are changes to be made.
At the end of our stay, we were still able to enjoy the superb countryside and its atmosphere, as well as the pleasure of approaching the authenticity of this country in areas not accessible to mass tourism ... and that's what we're looking for.
In terms of level, it would be a good idea to put intermediate + (in comparison, for example, with Sri Lanka's intermediate) ... especially if the weather gets in the way.
I'm happy to have broken out of my comfort zone again, and very satisfied to have succeeded.
All that's left is to think about the next trip ... it's becoming an addiction!
Clément, our guide, was just perfect ... bravo and thank you for your kindness .
