The Wonders of the Atlas Mountains

I love how everything is taken care of from the moment you arrive. The hassle of doing things independently is completsly removed, but you still feel like you have a totally authentic experience. The small group size really works and you never feel like a stereotypical tourist. Seeing such countries from a bike, especially a Royal Enfield, is THE way to do it. No other way would compare! The Vintage Rides guides and mechanics have always been absolutely faultless. I always come away from tours with so many stories and lots of new friendships. I will always come back to Vintage rides despite usually being in a group of French speakers because the experience is so so good, the language barriers with other people on the tour really dont matter!

From the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara dunes

Thanks VR for my awesome experience in Morocco with you. However 2 deceptions: - 11 riders in the group. Waiting time at every crossroad, puncture, crash, etc. Driving pace aligned on the slowest driver = low among a selection of 11 random riders. Your competitors compose groups of 5 to 6 riders. A group of eleven would be split in 2 subgroups by levels. Which is more satisfying for anyone. - the pitch of the trip was to enter the Sahara desert. But VR forbids to drive on the dunes. I can understand the risk is too high for the bikes and the drivers. But why not propose it as an extra activity = other bike rental + other guide (no responsibility for VR), instead of the camel promenade and quad practice? Those do not interest me and I feel frustrated not to have tried at least 1 hour riding on the dunes. That was 1 of the reasons why I had signed for this trip.

it was amazing, awesome routes, great guide - a truly unique experience. Only thing I'd flag is that I don't speak French and the group was mainly French people, so basically all conversations were French, which I couldn't then take part. So I'd rather prefer a tour that is German or English only, where everybody knows what language is spoken - will also help the group to grow better together.

I loved the trip and the beautiful people of Morocco, the fantastic landscapes and roads. I coming back some time.. First time with VR, first time group riding. Luxury trip, as I am used to tent and hammock and «simple» food.
