I joined the Thailand trip in Jan 2025; this was my third adventure with VR (after Argentina & Norther India). As usual the service by VR was top notch from the moment we were picked up at the airport until we were dropped back, including handling motorcycle issues. The twisties in the mountains were fantastic (like the "Back of the Dragon" in TN, USA). The scenery is a mixture of steep mountains and plains in between, with little industrialization. The trip could be summarized with great riding, some off-road, diversified scenery, local culture and camaraderie. Unfortunately, the smoke, due to burning in the fields, was starting to be an issue.

It's always a pleasure not to make a trip, but to experience it. That's what we expect from VR and what we find. India is surprising, always a total change of scenery, and even more so with VR, where you blend into the scenery, which is the whole point of these roadtrips. The itineraries in Kerala are magnificent and the roads quite good, even if you sometimes need nerves of steel on certain stretches with the traffic, but that's also what makes its charm and what you expect. The landscapes were grandiose, and the guide and group were brilliant too, so this is a trip to put in your memory box right away.
