Across the mountain passes of Ha Giang

For the offroad, I imagined Vietnam to be easier than Nepal. We had a few difficult passages, but in such a magical environment that we overcame the obstacles (in front of the kids coming home from school...). It was great to discover the villages and valleys at the end of the world, against a backdrop of grandiose landscapes. All in all, intense moments of happiness with biker friends and top-notch supervision! can't wait for the next one!

For the offroad, I imagined Vietnam to be easier than Nepal. An excellent course in a magnificent region (the Monts du Beaujolais) that I didn't know! Excellent organization, very good weather conditions, perfect trail conditions to learn to pass in all situations in extraordinary sites through forests. An instructor (Jean Charles) who was very competent, professional, educational and friendly, and some very nice fellow travelers. In short, the perfect course from every point of view.

A big big up to Guide…

A big big up to Guide Jean Charles: he saved the weekend! Jean Michel at the gite was adorable and took good care of us: home-cooked meals / copious aperitifs ... and some great encounters, notably with Jacky Groley. The level of the group was far too heterogeneous: a VERY BIG BAD POINT for VINTAGE RIDE here (not for the guide). It's really complicated to get behind someone who can't make a 90° turn at more than 20km/h: it was very frustrating on Saturday on the road sections, or even on roads limited to 70, where we were going 45km/h on the straights and 20km/h on the bends. Fortunately, the person in question chose not to come for Sunday, otherwise the weekend would have been ruined in my opinion! Either you have to set up level groups or validate skills or whatever, but it's impossible to find yourself in such situations, especially considering the price you pay to be "bridled" by people who don't know how to ride a motorcycle!
