5 Reasons to Visit Marrakesh At Least Once in Your Life

As you already know, after taking on South Africa and then Rwanda, we decided to launch a new adventure on the African continent with our motorcycle tour in Morocco. We love this part of the world and we just know that our Riders won’t be able to get enough of the culture, landscapes and hot, sandy tracks of Morocco.

1- The medina, souks and Jemaa-El-Fna square

If you’ve only got a few hours in Marrakesh, head straight to the centre to soak up the Red City’s lively atmosphere. Take in the hustle and bustle of the souks and try your hand at bartering for treasures. Stroll through the medina and discover the architectural gems and culture of Morocco’s best-known city. Or even enjoy a walk under the glorious sun that shines over Jemaa-El-Fna square and wander among snake charmers and food stalls for an authentic experience.

2- The food

Make the most of being in Marrakesh and try some local specialities. With delicious tajine, couscous, grilled meat, pastilla, tanjia, pastries and mint tea on offer, your biggest problem will be choosing what to order! One thing is certain: your first taste of Morocco is bound to tantalise your taste buds.

3- The temperature - no matter the time of year

While winter seems to drag in the north, Morocco is the envy of much of Europe. With a warm temperature all year round and daily sunshine, the Moroccan climate is a reason in itself to visit! What’s more, it’s not too far away, making it all the more appealing.

4- The chance to relax

If you’re on the quest for greater well-being and you fancy recharging your batteries, Marrakesh is the place for you. There are plenty of hammams if you want to indulge in some R & R and a wealth of shops offering cosmetics packed with natural beauty ingredients such as argan oil, olive oil and prickly pear. Riads will play an equally important role in helping you relax, making Marrakesh perfect for a short city break to unwind.

5- The surrounding nature

It’s only natural that your favourite motorcycle tour agency would end up surrounded by beautiful nature on the city’s doorstep!
