A motorcycle training course allows you to discover, or revisit, the basics of off-road riding on the Royal Enfield Himalayan trail bike. This course will be useful for your daily road riding as well as preparing you for adventures that combine confidence and pleasure. Whether you have already travelled with us, are planning your next motorbike trip, or simply wish to join a fun weekend outing with friends, you are welcome at the Vintage Rides Academy for an off-road training course. YOUR MOTORCYCLE TOUR IN FRANCE

1 day - Theory & Practice

You’ll set off on your motorcycles to the training ground for a full day of hands-on learning, where theory is immediately put into practice. On the agenda: clearing obstacles, tackling bends, slaloms, off-camber riding, slow and fast manoeuvres, gear changes while standing up, and higher-speed sections in a standing position. The workshops are tailored to your needs and riding level, ensuring an intensive and rewarding experience. After a convivial lunch in a local restaurant, you’ll return to the training ground to continue developing your skills. This day is the perfect preparation before embarking on a France motorcycle tour or any other adventure, where you can confidently put your new techniques to the test on real-world routes. The day wraps up around 6 p.m.

The price includes The price does not include

  • Rental of a Royal Enfield Himalayan 411cc motorcycle by the day (recent model)

  • Supervision: a motorcycle instructor with a diploma from the Fédération Française de Motocyclisme (French Motorcycling Federation)

  • Gasoline

  • Motorcycle equipment suitable for off-road use (approved full-face helmet, jackets with back protection, boots, reinforced gloves, pants with knee protectors, etc.).

  • A refundable security deposit of €600 per pilot

  • Travel to and from the meeting point before and after the tour.

Our courses take place on private land and/or on small roads and rolling tracks. There is no support vehicle; In the event of an accident, participants and/or the guide will contact public emergency services as soon as possible (fire brigade, SAMU). Unstable telephone networks can occasionally make contact with emergency services difficult. As with any adventure itinerary, the difficulty of the course depends on the weather conditions, both during and before the course.
