Arrival in Kayseri
Arrival in Kayseri according to your flight schedule, then transfer to your hotel in Cavusin, near Göreme Park. Much more than a simple Europe motorcycle tour… welcome to the gates of Asia! Overnight in a standard room in an exclusive character hotel located in the heart of Göreme National Park.
Cavusin - Çamardı Stage 2/9 109 miles including 22 miles of off-road
Cavusin - Çamardı
Wake up to the first rays of sun and enjoy a breathtaking view from our hotel of hot air balloons rising among the fairy chimneys of Göreme National Park. An irresistible invitation to explore this lunar landscape more closely, by taking trails nestled between these unique rock formations. After this fascinating introduction, the day continues on picturesque roads, passing through cave villages little frequented by tourists, before visiting a monastery entirely carved into the rock. We conclude this day with an ascent to the gates of the Anti-Taurus mountains, where we spend the night in total immersion in nature. Overnight in a bungalow.
Çamardı - Kapuzbaşı Stage 3/9 98 miles including 36 miles of off-road
Çamardı - Kapuzbaşı
This stage takes you into the mountains, where you will start with a spectacular view of the highest peaks of the Anti-Taurus, culminating at 12303 feet. You will quickly gain altitude to venture into this natural and wooded area, taking steep trails and sharp turns. As you progress, you will discover a wild and sparsely populated nature, before concluding this beautiful day with a visit to the Kapuzbaşı waterfalls. Composed of seven waterfalls among the highest in Turkey, they are fed by the waters of the surrounding snow-capped peaks. Overnight in a standard hotel.
Kapuzbaşı - Döngele Stage 4/9 128 miles including 20 miles of off-road
Kapuzbaşı - Döngele
Waking up to the soothing sound of the river flowing below your hotel prepares you for a new day full of adventures. The Anti-Taurus mountains still have many surprises in store for you. You will take a mix of small mountain roads and trails, crossing waterfalls, picturesque mountain villages, and larger towns, all in an atmosphere almost frozen in time. To conclude this day beautifully, a nice surprise awaits you: a spa and thermal waters within your hotel. What more could you ask for? Overnight in a standard room.
Döngele - Malatya Stage 5/9 168 miles including 19 miles of off-road
Döngele - Malatya
It's time to say goodbye to the enchanted mountains and reach the central plain, while remaining in the high plateaus of Cappadocia, at about 3281 feet of altitude. On these small secondary roads along several natural lakes, the landscape transforms radically. The forested mountains you leave behind give way to a more arid and mineral landscape, typical of the region. You thus reach Malatya, formerly Mitiène, which was historically the capital of the easternmost province of the ancient kingdom of Cappadocia. Overnight in a modern comfort hotel.
Malatya - Kemaliye Stage 6/9 126 miles including 19 miles of off-road
Malatya - Kemaliye
Malatya, in addition to being the capital of the Roman province of Armenia, has a history of over 5000 years, and vestiges are still there to testify to it. You will then cross the mythical Euphrates river by boat, the very one that flowed through the Garden of Eden according to the Bible. You will follow it for a large part of the day, on the other side of the bank, where asphalt roads and apricot plantations gradually give way to rolling trails, in an arid and deserted landscape. You will continue your journey towards your stopover village, with a dizzying descent into the hollow of the Euphrates valley, leading you to a destination that evokes a small alpine village. Overnight in a basic hotel.
Kemaliye - Gurun Stage 7/9 114 miles including 35 miles of off-road
Kemaliye - Gurun
A day full of breathtaking landscapes and adventure roads awaits you. Barely out of your village nestled in the mountains, you venture into the Karanlik canyon, a unique road bordered by cliffs, interspersed with a multitude of tunnels carved into the rock, with holes of light that create a special atmosphere. This trail will leave you eager for new adventures, and you will continue your way out of the canyon to reach Divrigi and visit its great mosque. You will end the day on rolling trails, crossing mountains and desert areas. Overnight in a standard hotel.
Gurun - Cavusin Stage 8/9 194 miles including 9.3 miles of off-road
Gurun - Cavusin
A final, more rolling stage separates you from the finish line, leading you to Göreme National Park by crossing the great central plateau. A pleasant mix of secondary roads and rolling, sometimes dusty, trails will allow you to traverse this agricultural area, rich in cereal crops and sheep farming. In the distance, you will see Mount Erciyes, a dormant volcano culminating at nearly 13123 feet above Kayseri. A stop along the way will allow you to refresh yourself with lunch at the foot of the Pinarbasi waterfalls. You will then reach your destination, where you will be amazed by the proliferation of troglodyte structures and characteristic landscapes. You will fully enjoy this last sunset over the fairy chimneys, a colorful spectacle to beautifully conclude this journey through this spectacular region. Overnight in a standard hotel room in an exclusive character hotel located in the center of Göreme National Park.

This adventure tour covers about 930 miles, 20% of the distance and a third of the riding time on gravel: mostly easy dusty tracks, some stonier ones and a few single tracks, sometimes along cliff edges (no fear of heights), with hairpins. Days are long, from 8:30 am to 5 pm. Passengers welcome with mountain-road experience, at a steady pace.

Some stages are far from medical facilities: first aid and transport to the nearest medical center rely mainly on our support vehicle, as helicopters and ambulances are rare, and phone coverage can be patchy. As on any adventure route, road conditions depend on the weather during and before the trip.
