Adventure in South Africa costs from $4,690 per rider for 10 days, with full board, accommodation, the motorcycle, fuel and the support team included. International flights are not included.

It is a loop from Cape Town through the Western Cape: Hermanus, Cape Agulhas, the Klein and Great Karoo, Route 62, Matjiesfontein, Montagu, Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and the Cape of Good Hope. It does not include a safari.

Some. About 390 of the 990 miles are on gravel roads and tracks, some of them technical, and the days are long. You need a motorcycle license, regular riding practice and some experience off the pavement.

Our departures run in February, during the dry Cape summer, and from September to November, in spring.

The tour starts and ends in Cape Town, where we meet you at the airport. You book your own flight; from the US you usually connect once, or fly nonstop to Johannesburg and on to Cape Town. US citizens do not need a visa for a tourist stay of up to 90 days.
