Last point re the trip, The first 2-3 days had a lot of riding in traffic on main roads. This was not clear in the itinerary and was the worst part of the trip. You should look at changing this. It exceeded my expectations. The bikes were great, the routes were more challenging and enjoyable, the accommodation was superb. the organisation was faultless. The icing on the cake for me, being English, was mixing with French and Belgium riders. All made me very welcome with the cultural differences being a joy to experience. The number of unpaved roads was more than I expected, and I would recommend anyone doing this trip to have some training beforehand, as I was very nervous riding on loose gravel. Also needs to mention that you can take quite a lot of clothing in a large suitcase, rather than the small roll bag I took with me ! Warm clothing should be emphasised....

The ride was excellent and corresponding pretty much to description and expectation. I was disappointed though that last 3 days was basically returning back on the same route... I'm sure you can improve that! VR must spend more effort training local guide. When you book a tour from a French company you should not be confronted with a guide that make a U-turn in a hidden turn with the group... this could have be the end for one if us on day 2!!! As said already, very poor communication overall, dreadful briefings, no leadership, insufficient safety standards... a lot to improve before I can recommend VR with confidence to my friends.

return to delhi was too tough. it was not possible to stay in room in manali for the day after 9 hours on the bike and before 17 !!! hours in the bus to delhi. efforts to solve this with the VR staff where useless. after telling us they will deal with it - no more answers. very unprofessional. michelle of local office gives wrong info (pcr testing) and no replies to certain questions launched by mail. even the guys who extended their stay had no info about their programm. in general - great trip but lacking of vintage ride spirit experienced in trips before.
