1/12 • Denpasar International Airport – Ubud
You will be met at the airport and transferred to Ubud, Bali's cultural and artistic centre. Check in at the hotel and enjoy a free day. Ubud embodies all the magic of Bali, with its daily dance performances and art galleries.

2/12 • Ubud - Belimbing
This morning, your motorcycle guide will introduce you to your new ride: the Royal Enfield. The journey begins gently west of Ubud. We take small roads through typical villages. We stop at Sangeh Monkey Forest, home to a temple populated by monkeys. This first day sets the tone for this motorbike tour in Asia.

3/12 • Belimbing - Licin
Tonight we are sleeping on the island of Java! A magnificent road takes us to the north coast of Bali, about 50 km away. We then drive along the coast to Gilimanuk, where the ferry to Java awaits us.

4/12 • Licin - Jember
We leave at sunrise this morning to reach Paltuding, at an altitude of nearly 2,000 metres, and begin the trek to the summit of Mount Ijen. At the edge of the crater, the first rays of sunlight reveal the largest acid lake in the world. Then we set off for Jember along quiet back roads.

5/12 • Jember - Cemoro Lawang
We continue westward and get a feel for Java, where the cultural differences with Bali are very marked. We arrive at our lunch stop, a stone's throw from the huge caldera of the Bromo volcano, which we will explore in the afternoon.

6/12 • Cemoro Lawang - Ambulu
At dawn, we set off for a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking the volcanoes of Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park to watch the sunrise. We then descend into the volcanic sand caldera, which we cross from north to south, dominated by the smoking cone of Bromo. These few kilometres, in incredibly beautiful lunar landscapes, will remain etched in our memories!

7/12 • Ambulu - Sukamade
A beautiful, long day awaits us, completely off the beaten track, on the small roads surrounding Meru Betiri National Park. About ten kilometres from our evening stop, we swap our Royal Enfields for a 4x4 vehicle. At nightfall, we head to a wild beach to try and spot the huge sea turtles that come here to lay their eggs throughout the year.

8/12 • Sukamade - Pemuteran
This morning, early risers can return to the beach to release the baby turtles hatched the day before. Return by 4x4 through the primary jungle. Back in the saddle on small country roads towards the large coastal town of Banyuwangi, where we encounter heavy traffic before taking the ferry back to the island of Bali.

9/12 • Pemuteran - Menjangan Island
Today, we leave our horses behind for a well-deserved day of rest. In the morning, you can visit Menjangan Island, a protected area with exceptional seabeds and coral reefs! Choose between organised diving or snorkelling with masks and snorkels! (Activities not included)

10/12 • Pemuteran - Amed
A beautiful motorcycle ride takes us on a journey to discover the riches and volcanoes of central Bali. We ride along the east coast for about 40 kilometres before turning south towards the mountains in the centre of the island. In the middle of the tropical jungle, we suddenly catch sight of Mount Batur, in front of which we stop for lunch. Finally, we descend to the small coastal village of Amed, in the south-east of the island.

11/12 • Amed - Ubud
Last day of motorcycling on the magical back roads of the Balinese countryside. We will stop at the vibrant Amlapura market and the charming village of Pakudui to admire the wood carvers at work, an ancient Balinese tradition. Once in Ubud, you will have time to do some shopping, relax by the pool at your hotel or stroll through the art galleries.

  • Compulsory insurance: insurance covering medical expenses incurred locally. Repatriation assistance, which covers you in the event of accidents involving two-wheeled vehicles (large engine capacity).

  • Legal insurance and cancellation insurance are strongly recommended.
