Travel Stories
All forms of Sri Lanka

Follow us on the roads of Ceylon, let us take you on secret tracks, and enjoy a unique motorcycle trip.

Not just a motorbike…

While our White Gold of Ceylon trip on Sri Lanka’s eastern coast is about to take place, we are already preparing a third winter season on the island of beauty. Let’s go back to our unique itinerary : On the Roads of Ceylon. More than a motorcycle roadtrip, this tour is certainly one of our most beautiful circuits in Asia with a Royal Enfield. Take some sun, many wild animals, add a little bit of time spend on the beach, get some magical encounters into it, excursions, discoveries of off-beaten tracks, several amazing cultural sites, and mix it all with a cup of the best tea in the world – here you are heading off to the treasures of Sri Lanka! To give you a glimpse of how it’s like, let us tell you about the activities we planned for you.

Face in the sun, feet in the water

In the need for sun and relaxing? During your trip you will get several occasions to paddle in the water and chill on dazzling white sand beaches. Dive deep in the ocean in Negombo, Trincomalee or Polhena for a well deserved break. During some of the tour’s stages, you will be able to refresh in the pool of your hotel. At the beginning of the tour, in Negombo, you will embark for a few hours on a traditional catamaran (a « oruwa ») or discover the great fish market. On the following day in Kalpitiya, you will be able to board on a boat who will take you to observe dolphins and whales meeting at dawn. A few days later on the East coast, go for a snorkeling session on Pigeon Island. This small island, off Nilaveli’s beautiful beach, is a natural reserve with magical sea floors. Swim in the middle of turtles, hundreds of multicolored fishes and harmless little black-tip sharks.
