Rajasthan is best visited outside the hottest months. The best periods for a motorcycle road trip in Rajasthan are October to mid-December and mid-January to March, as they offer more pleasant temperatures both during the day and at night.

December and January can be chilly at night in the Thar Desert, while the period from April to June is very hot, and the monsoon season runs from July to September.

The tour alternates between small country roads and a few occasional off-road sections, including a possible free ride on Sambhar Salt Lake, depending on conditions.

A more sporty itinerary, taking you off the beaten track: Alwar, Jaipur, Pushkar, Ghanerao, Jalore, Barmer, a night sleeping under the stars in the Thar Desert, then Jaisalmer (return to Delhi by domestic flight).

Each stage includes a variable amount of off-road riding, often on sand, ranging from 13% to 40%, with a weighted average of approximately 20% to 25% off-road riding over the entire route.

The level required depends on the itinerary you choose:

Intermediate level : The Land of Maharajas

We mainly ride on small secondary roads. Riding stages of 5 to 6 hours are repeated every day, so good physical fitness is necessary.

Riding on well-maintained off-road tracks can be frequent.

Sustained level: The Rajasthani Adventure

This Adventure Tour includes long riding stages, sometimes rough off-road terrain and occasionally challenging weather conditions.

Good physical fitness and regular motorcycle riding experience are required, although the relaxed pace of the Royal Enfield helps reduce the technical difficulties. Previous off-road experience is a real advantage.
