Welcome to Kathmandu! You are greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel in Patan. Enjoy this free time before starting your motorcycle tour in Asia!
Patan - Chitwan Stage 2/11 93 miles
Patan - Chitwan
First day of your motorcycle trip in Nepal, we head southwest of Kathmandu and truly begin to appreciate rural Nepal. The landscapes change from one valley to another, the winding road crosses traditional villages and terraced crops until reaching the Terai region.
Chitwan Stage 3/11
Chitwan
Today, we set out to discover lush nature. On the program, a safari to spot the one-horned rhinoceros, monkeys, crocodiles, and perhaps for the luckiest, an unforgettable encounter with a Royal Bengal tiger, a leopard, or even a bear.
Chitwan - Tansen Stage 4/11 115 miles

We leave the jungle for the mountainous roads towards Tansen, in the Northwest. Our Royal Enfields thrive on their favorite playground, and we find a bit of coolness!
Tansen - Pokhara Stage 5/11 90 miles
Tansen - Pokhara
A beautiful stage to Pokhara, the road is good and goes up the green valley of the Aadhi Khola river. Arrival near Phewa Lake in the afternoon. Free time. Nothing embodies Pokhara's splendid natural setting better than the majestic Phewa Tal, the country's second-largest lake.
Pokhara - Dhampus Stage 6/11 22 miles
Pokhara - Dhampus
A short stage today, allowing us to stay a little longer in this beautiful region at the foot of the Annapurnas and its captivating viewpoints. Especially from this ridge road we take west of Pokhara, little used and undoubtedly offering you your most beautiful photos of the Great Himalayas as a backdrop.
Dhampus - Darechok Stage 7/11 96 miles

A very beautiful day of riding gently leads us towards Kathmandu. We treat ourselves to a break by Begnas Lake, an oasis of calm and beauty. Then we continue to descend in altitude to finally follow the Trishuli River, which generously flows down from the Tibetan plateau.
Darechok - Nuwakot Stage 8/11 56 miles

We continue riding towards Kathmandu, but regain altitude for our last night, north of the capital. We continue to appreciate these ephemeral visions or various encounters, in this setting of rice fields and forests.
Nuwakot - Kathmandu Stage 9/11 43 miles
Nuwakot - Kathmandu
We hit the road again for this last day of riding. The road is narrow and beautiful, we cross a pass and Shivapuri National Park before reaching the capital for lunch. It's time to say goodbye to our steeds.
Kathmandu Stage 10/11
Kathmandu
Free time in Kathmandu. Possibility to visit the Boudhanath stupa or the religious site of Pashupatinath. A stroll through the small streets will allow you to discover its extraordinary cultural and artistic heritage, its hidden temples adorned with garlands of carnations, courtyards where chilies and rice dry, and its tiny workshops.

  • Mandatory insurance: insurance covering medical expenses on site. Repatriation assistance, which covers you in case of 2-wheel accidents (large displacement).

  • Legal insurance and cancellation insurance highly recommended.

  • International driving permit.

This tour follows small roads through the hills of Nepal, with some easy dirt tracks (about 20% of the route) and sections of road under construction (about 30%), with 3 to 7 hours of riding a day. You need to be comfortable on a motorcycle, on uneven surfaces and in traffic. Passengers are welcome if the pair is ready for bumpy roads and a few off-road sections.

Part of the route is far from medical facilities: first assistance is provided by our support vehicle, as helicopters and ambulances are scarce, and the phone network can be limited. As on any mountain route, road conditions depend on the weather, during and before the tour.
