Absolutely enjoyed my trip, Loved it, fantastic scenery, rest of the group where fun, weather was excellent, (luck). Bit of a language barrier, between French and English, but all ok and added to the fun. Well looked after throughout, thank you all.

You guys are clearly very professional with the operation you run. My only issue was i found out 80% of your clientele are French, with only a small percentage being British. My colleagues were very helpful with half of them able to speak English, but it would have been a lonely trip for me if this wasn't the case. It may be worth adding this detail to your website.

Firstly, a well organised trip and everything went to plan, so very well done to VR for that :-) Luggage - I read the travel guide from VR and purchased a duffle bag especially for the trip. I was annoyed then that 9 others in the group had luggage from hard case suitcases and hard cased carry on to wheeled duffle bags (both of which I already had). No penalty for them breaking the rules? Our soft bags mostly ended up under their hard luggage on the bus - not fair. Language - With the best will in the world, mixing 3 non French speaking with 9 French speaking just doesn't work. We just didn't know what was being said and it led to segmentation within the group. This was disappointing as it meant we struggled to make friends or casual conversation with most of the group. Videos/photos - I expected that VR would put a video together of our ride, I was disappointed when I realised any videos were up to us. I would have been prepared to pay for such a video/album. We didn't do enough group photos.

Some communications with Michelle were mis leading. Main issue was in relation to having power available at accommodation and for how long. Also we were sent an email saying no power banks were permitted on flight to Leh which wasn't the case as you could take them in carry on just not checked luggage. The guides supplied for tours of Delhi and Agra seemed untrustworthy and tryed to push us into visiting all their friends shops to pressure sell items we didn't want. It would have been great to know in advance about amount of tips required to be paid and also the costs to attend each of the attractions. Also seemed questionable that most the hotels and restaurants we were taken and also the hire bikes used in Ladakh were all owned by the same person? Special mention for Nit the guide in training as he was most genuine and wouldn't even accept our tip at end of tour. He went out of his way to make our trip enjoyable.

On the Roads of Ceylon
We found that the options to do alternative activities were impossible as we arrived too late to take part. Not enough time was given to the cultural sights. We did not get to see Galle, swim with turtles, visit any local craft places. There was no proper welcome at our hotel, no welcome drink at the meeting, we had to ask for at least water yo be provided with meals, too much time was taken up eating lunch for the first few days until Kali taking a hint from the group made it a light lunch and a drink. It was impossible to eat anywhere but the hotel so we were trapped into paying for their meals and drinks. We should have evening meals included where this is the case. It made us feel the trip was expensive for what you charged. We missed out on some of the more usual tourist options. This did not mean we were more interactive with locals but just spending a lot of time on off road situations and riding between hotels.
