An adventure motorcycle training course gives you the chance to learn, or brush up on, the fundamentals of off-road riding on the Royal Enfield Himalayan. This training is not only valuable for everyday road riding but also prepares you for adventures where confidence and enjoyment go hand in hand. Whether you’ve already ridden with us, are planning your next motorcycle trip, or just want to join a weekend ride with friends, you’re welcome at the Vintage Rides Academy for an off-road training course. YOUR MOTORCYCLE TOUR IN FRANCE

1 day - Theory & Practice

You’ll head out on your motorcycles to the training ground for a full day of learning by doing, where you’ll put theory into practice right away. On the program: clearing obstacles, cornering techniques, slaloms, off-camber riding, slow and fast manoeuvres, shifting gears while standing, and higher-speed riding in a standing position. The workshops are customized to your needs and level, making this an intensive and rewarding training experience. After a friendly lunch in a local restaurant, you’ll get back to the training ground to keep practicing. This day is the ideal preparation before setting off on one of our France motorcycle tours or any other adventure, where you’ll apply your new skills on real routes. The day finishes around 6 p.m.

The price includes The price does not include

  • Rental of a Royal Enfield Himalayan 411cc motorcycle by the day (recent model)

  • Supervision: a motorcycle instructor with a diploma from the Fédération Française de Motocyclisme (French Motorcycling Federation)

  • Gasoline

  • Motorcycle equipment suitable for off-road use (approved full-face helmet, jackets with back protection, boots, reinforced gloves, pants with knee protectors, etc.).

  • 600€ deposit per rider

  • Travel to and from the meeting point before and after the tour.

Our courses take place on private land and/or on small roads and rolling tracks. There is no support vehicle; In the event of an accident, participants and/or the guide will contact public emergency services as soon as possible (fire brigade, SAMU). Unstable telephone networks can occasionally make contact with emergency services difficult. As with any adventure itinerary, the difficulty of the course depends on the weather conditions, both during and before the course.
