I didn't know Turkey. The Turks are really lovely and very approachable. Their behavior on the road is exemplary compared to motorcycles. We were very well received. And very curious about us. Pleasantly surprised.

We took this trip together (driver + passenger) and it was a great experience. It must be said that the weather smiled on us, as we had no rain. Bhutan is a wonderful, relaxing country. The roads are perfectly passable, even for two people. If you like winding roads, you're in for a treat - we had a blast. Our tour guide, Dinesh, had a lot to do with the success of this trip. He introduced us to this country, its fabulous landscapes and, with the efficient help of the local guide, its culture. He did everything he could to make things easier for us, and went out of his way to solve the Kafkaesque problems posed by the Indian administration at the border crossing with Bhutan. What happiness... which seems normal in the land of "Gross Domestic Happiness"!
