Guided motorcycle tours around the world, since 2006


Vintage Rides has been running guided motorcycle tours on Royal Enfield since 2006, today in 27 countries on five continents: from the Himalaya to the Andes, from Morocco to Mongolia, from the Peloponnese to Patagonia. Every itinerary is designed by our team and our local partners, and scouted again on a regular basis, so that you ride the best roads and tracks of a country, away from the tourist crowds.

A guided tour means you only have to ride: a tour leader shows the way, a mechanic keeps the motorcycles running, and a support vehicle carries your luggage. You travel in a small group, usually 10 to 12 motorcycles at most, with riders from several countries.


What's included on our guided motorcycle tours


  • A Royal Enfield, a Himalayan 450 or a Classic 350 depending on the tour, with spare parts, fuel and third-party insurance.
  • An English-speaking motorcycle tour leader who knows the route and leads the group.
  • A mechanic and a support vehicle that carries your luggage.
  • Hand-picked accommodation, meals on riding days as listed on each tour, and airport transfers.
  • 24/7 emergency support from our team.

International flights are not included, so you can fly from the airport that suits you.


Which tour is right for you?


Motorcycle Rambles are relaxed guided tours on small roads with a little easy gravel, 4 to 6 hours of riding a day, well suited to couples. Adventure Tours are more demanding: long days, gravel tracks, river crossings and high passes, for riders with off-road experience. If you want to build your skills first, our adventure motorcycle training courses in France and Wales will get you ready. And if you would rather ride on your own, we also offer self-guided motorcycle tours and rentals in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Guided motorcycle tours: your questions


How long are the tours? Most guided tours last 7 to 14 days. The longest, the Transcontinental from Arequipa to Ushuaia, takes 46 days; the training courses last 1 to 3 days.

Do I need off-road experience? Not for our Motorcycle Rambles, which run mostly on paved roads. For Adventure Tours, you should be comfortable on gravel. The difficulty is listed on every tour page.

Can I bring a passenger? Yes, on most tours. On some adventure tours, a passenger is only recommended if you both have off-road experience; each tour page says so.

Can I book a private tour? Yes, on request: your own group can ride one of our routes on your own dates, or we can design a custom itinerary together.
