The Academy USA is a 3-day training designed for riders who want to improve their off-road skills—whether you're preparing for an international adventure or a USA motorcycle tour off the beaten path. Held in the Black Hills region, it combines expert coaching with real-world terrain to help you ride with confidence wherever your journey takes you.

 

YOUR ADVENTURE IN THE BLACK HILLS

3 stages
1/3 • Foundations & Skill-Building
Join your coach and a small group of fellow riders for a full day of hands-on training in a closed-course off-road setting, guided by certified dirt and ADV instructors. During the course, you’ll build essential skills such as body positioning, throttle and brake control on loose surfaces, slow-speed balance, hill climbs, emergency stops, and obstacle negotiation. Whether you’re completely new to off-road riding or want to sharpen your skills before your next big adventure, this beginner-friendly program is the perfect way to gain confidence. It’s also an ideal preparation for your dream America motorcycle tour, ensuring you’re ready to fully enjoy the freedom of open roads and diverse terrains.
Training on Private Land
2/3 • Riding the Black Hills
Put your skills to the test with two days of guided trail exploration through forested slopes, gravel back-ways, seasonal creek beds, and sweeping ridges of the fabled Black Hills. Expect open roads, rolling terrain, and endlessly changing scenery. Daily instructor-led debriefs cap off each evening. Share highlights, get feedback, gear up for the next day, all while enjoying the wild beauty and deep history of this world-famous motorcycling destination.
3/3 • Riding the Black Hills
