Serious organization, a friendly and efficient team, a first experience on the track, encounters with the local population and a real feeling of leaving the beaten track (the high plateaus, pure happiness), a crush on this little motorcycle so willing and ultimately comfortable (I usually ride a 1250RT). A trip just the way we like it, with superb landscapes, great encounters, a very friendly group and a top-notch guide. However, this destination should be avoided during Ramadan, and the quality/duration/price ratio was a little excessive.

At 77 years old I have ridden bikes in many places. India , Europe, Canadian Rockies and Thailand. All have been with the expectation of some tarmac or generally firm roads. I must have misread the brochure for the Morocco trip because, whilst most was on tarmac roads , I soon found myself completely out of my comfort zone on rough terrain with a lot more to come. Our leader, Jean took me through the basics and kept an eye out and I got on with it. There was no going back. Now , five days later , i feel fantastic and with greater riding skills, a much better rider. I am still a novice by the standards of the rest of the group, who, I must say, were very supportive . I feel a better person for the total experience and I would recommend the trip to any serious rider who feels the need to stretch themselves out side their comfort zone.
