Arrival in Hoi An
Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival at Da Nang airport, you will be transferred to Hoi An, a UNESCO-listed gem and the first stop of your motorcycle journey. Wander through lantern-lit streets, explore bustling markets, or relax on the beach. In the evening, meet your guide and group for a welcome dinner before hitting the road the next day.
2/11 • Hoi An - Phu Ninh
We hop on our bikes and ride through vast green rice fields and small villages, offering a glimpse into rural Vietnam. We stop at My Son, a UNESCO-listed Cham site, where ancient temple ruins showcase a bygone civilization. After this historical immersion, we ride winding scenic roads to the peaceful shores of Phu Ninh Lake, a true haven of tranquility in the heart of nature.

3/11 • Phu Ninh - A So
This morning, we take the legendary Ho Chi Minh Road, winding through mountains, rivers, and waterfalls. As the miles pass, the landscape becomes wilder and more pristine, providing full immersion in Vietnam’s nature. We reach A So, near the Laos border, for breathtaking panoramas. In the evening, we enjoy a traditional Cotu tribal dance performance—an authentic moment at the heart of local culture.

4/11 • A So - Hue
We ride through dense tropical forests and misty valleys towards Hue. Along the way, we pause to discover remnants of the Vietnam War before visiting the magnificent tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh, a fascinating blend of Asian and European architecture. We then ascend "The Hill" for stunning panoramic views before arriving in Hue, a former imperial capital and UNESCO World Heritage site.

5/11 • Hue - Khe Sanh
We follow the coastal road, passing fishing villages and the beautiful Tam Giang Lagoon. We visit a historic village with century-old houses, then explore Quang Tri Citadel and Bo De School, both bearing witness to the Vietnam War. We continue on the legendary Route 9 to Khe Sanh, an open-air war museum.

6/11 • Khe Sanh - Phong Nha
Leaving Khe Sanh, we take mountainous roads through dense tropical forests and past waterfalls. The varied landscapes offer breathtaking views of valleys and mountain ridges. In the late afternoon, we arrive at Phong Nha, a UNESCO-listed site famous for its towering limestone karsts and vast cave systems.

We start with a boat ride along the Son River to visit the famous Phong Nha Cave, followed by a free afternoon: relax by the pool, explore the area by bike, hike in the jungle, try kayaking, or join a cooking class.

8/11 • Phong Nha - Dong Hoi
The day begins with a scenic loop through Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, revealing breathtaking landscapes. We stop at a former communist airbase before heading to Nuoc Mooc, a hidden natural spring in the jungle where the adventurous can swim. If time permits, we visit the botanical gardens, known for their exotic flora. After a seafood lunch by the ocean, we ride to Dong Hoi for a relaxing evening by the beach or at the local market.

We leave Dong Hoi and head to the Vinh Moc Tunnels, an underground network that sheltered an entire village during the war. In the afternoon, we take a coastal road through fishing villages, witnessing daily seaside life. By evening, we arrive in Hue, a vibrant city blending culture and history.

10/11 • Hue - Hoi An
We start with a visit to Hue’s stunning Imperial City, once home to the Nguyen emperors. We then ride to Tam Giang Lagoon and the City of Ghosts cemetery, learning about local spiritual traditions. After a seafood lunch at Lang Co Beach, we conquer the famous Hai Van Pass before reaching Da Nang and Hoi An for our final dinner.

Primary assistance to reach the nearest medical center is mainly provided by our support vehicle, as helicopters and ambulances are very rare. Limited phone networks may make it difficult to contact emergency services.
