1/13 • Arrive in Delhi

You’re met at the airport and transferred to the hotel in the centre of Delhi. Your room is available from noon onwards.

2/13 • Delhi - Orchha

We leave the hotel at dawn to catch the first train to Orchha. We arrive at around noon, check in at the hotel and have lunch. We go to centre of Orchha and spend the rest of the afternoon visiting this peaceful medieval village.

3/13 • Orccha - Panna

We start by crossing the Orchha Nature Reserve, then continue on through mustard fields and traditional villages. From this day forward, we will delve deeper into rural India and discover the splendours of the princes of yesteryear, thanks to our expertly crafted routes along beautiful backroads. We spend the night in a charming place next to a river surrounded by nature in the heart of Panna National Park.

Taj Mahal / 2 or 3 days

You will be transported from New Delhi to Agra in a private vehicle with driver. You have the option of a 2 or 3 day extension, allowing ample time to visit the fabulous Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri and the Red Fort of Agra.

Varanasi (Benares) / 2 days

Two days to discover the sacred town of Varanasi. An English-speaking guide shows you around the Buddhist city of Sarnath, one of the four holy Buddhist cities. As the sun sets, you'll have the opportunity to stroll along the Varanasi ghats and attend Aarti, a daily worship ritual. On the second day, you will enjoy a sunrise boat tour, visit the University, Bharat Mata Mandir and the rest of the city.

Limited phone coverage and restrictions on satellite phones can make contacting emergency services challenging. Additionally, as with any mountain route, road quality and difficulty are heavily influenced by current and prior weather conditions
