Two men, two adventurers, one concept!

Alexander Le Beuan and Alexander Zurcher meet in 2007 in New Delhi, India. What brought them closer was the taste for adventure, the thrill of a motorbike and wanting to pass this adventure to fellow travellers.

In 2006, Alexander Zurcher was a student at Nehru at the University of New Delhi;He bought a Royal Enfield and set out to discover the country. It was a revelation.He wanted to share his passion for India and for this means of transport! On the benches of his college, he designed the logo for Vintage Rides with the desire to see the birth of this new project.

At that time, Alexander LeBeuan was a tourism professional who was talking about Alexander Zurcher!  He had been inIndia for two years already, and he successfully led Shanti Travel, a travel agency specializing in the Indian subcontinent.   He knows the field and personally went through a large part of India on a motorcycle, while also guiding many travellers for adventure trips.

The two men decided to join and then take Vintage Rides to the next level by offering a diverse range of travel packages.

A young Indian of 25 years with boundless energy, he loves motorcycles, travel, and cricket. He studied political science, geography and economics at the University of Jai Narayan Vyas in Jodhpur, in Rajasthan.

Just arrived in India, François has finally found his calling as part of the "Vintage Rides Team"!

He’s practically spent his whole live on a motorbike, and has been visiting several Spanish speaking countries such as Spain, Mexico, and Argentinasince he was eighteenand completely unaccompanied! Fluent in English and Castilian, he now enjoys the pleasures of Hindi.

Through his many experiences in tourism, catering, and hotel management, he shows his deep interest in human relationships, sharing, and uses his energy and his knowledge of the field to cook up Vintage programs.

Steven,Motorcycle Guide

Steven is a great lover of open spaces and group travel. It was only after a long journey through the Canadian Rockies, the desert of the American West, the Inca Trail, the southern desert and villages of South Asia, that his heart was smitten before the greatness and diversity of India.

Today he is the reference guide for Vintage Rides and each trip is a rediscovery for him with our Vintage Riders, each ride a new adventure, a breath of fresh air, and meetings just as rewarding.

When not on the road, Steven advises and organizes new routes to the delight of our riders.

Vikram, Administrative Manager

With experience of 25 years, Vikram is the "dean" of the team. Graduated in Economics and Political Science, he joined the team in 2009.

A native of Himachal Pradesh, father of two, and Hindu at heart, Vikram brings to the team's wealth of knowledge about the country, and shares with pride and enthusiasm multi-faceted culture.

He actively participates in the wellbeing of the planet by volunteering at an NGO for the preservation of the environment.

Motivation and efficiency are rigorous in his life. The proud motto of Vikram – “Vintage Power”

Naushad, Sohael, Mechanic


Naushad, the eldest, and his brother Sohael are indispensable to say the least just as a horn is indispensable to a Royal Enfield Bullet!

To their families, Royal Enfield is a way of life. Their father already had immense knowledge of the Bullet since before their time, which they inherited. He was a renowned engineer of the region of Jharkhand. So it was onlynatural that the two brothers took up the torch and in turn became specialists Royal Enfield.

After spending ten years as an on the road engineer, Sohael joined Naushad at Vintage Rides in 2008 to maintain parked motorcycles.

Sohael, although from a very modest social background, completed a curriculum copy before joining the team in 2010. As good as his predecessor in terms of mechanics, engine diagnostics and a specialist "by ear", he went quickly as needed, through his contacts ofsuppliers and professionals of the bike in Delhi.

Head of the garage and maintenance of machinery, he’s also on road quite often for your enjoyment.

Mechanic, talented comedian, and occasionally cook, Naushad Ji was always very attentive and will surprise you in situations that are most peculiar.

Vaibhav, Tour Leader

Professional climber, passionate adventure sports and nature, and a native of Bombay, Vaibhav has continued to travel through the different states of India over the past ten years. Self-taught, he developed a wide knowledge of the Indian wildlife.
In addition, his professional activities and sports as well as his personal life have woven its special relationship with the French community in India and France.

Since 2009, he has moved with his family in Leh (Ladakh), where he creates a climbing gym for their care when it does not overlap his work with Vintage Rides...
